About Stan
Stan Bell is no stranger to the Mid-South area. He communicates on and off the air. He has become one of Memphis’ most energetic and beloved radio personalities spanning his 30+ year career in the Bluff City.
He is employed with I-Heart Media-Memphis and can be heard “drive-time” from 3p.m. until 7p.m. on V-101.1. He also holds down a nightly radio show on sister-station, WHAL 95.7 Hallelujah FM.
In recent years, Stan received the prestigious Marconi Award for broadcast excellence–a nationally recognized honor among his peers.
Mr. Bell is an educator and has served as a classroom teacher with Memphis City and Shelby County Schools for more than 25 years. He is currently the Senior Communications Advisor in the Office of Communications with the District.
He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He holds undergraduate and post-graduate degrees from UT-Martin and Union University, respectively.
He is a family man with a loving wife, Carla. He is the father of three brilliant and handsome sons–Matthew, Myles, and Micah, also known as the “Baby-Bellringers”.
